Situated six miles from center city Philadelphia, Elkins Park is best known for its stunning stone homes, rich history and sense of community.

CreekSide Co-op, a food market that’s owned and operated by members neighbors. It’s located in Elkins Park’s quaint business district which also boasts a coffee shop, independent bookstore, restaurants, shops and performing arts school.

Nearby, you can relax, unwind or take a walk through High School Park. The once-neglected site of a former high school, the 11-acre native ecosystem is another example of what can happen when EP neighbors come together.

The Elkins Park station offers convenient access to Philly by SEPTA Regional Rail trains on the Warminster Line, West Trenton Line and Lansdale/Doylestown Line.

Elkins Park is situated in Cheltenham and Abington townships, the border marked by Township Line Road. Route 611 (Old York Road) cuts through the western edge of Elkins Park and leads south into Philadelphia.

Elkins Park is also home to Beth Sholom Congregation, the only synagogue designed by famed architect, Frank Lloyd Wright.
